As Tricky Tony once said: There isn't a number that's higher.
9 is an important number to me, so I wanted to do something special for Eep. So where do we begin?
Happy Birthday to my son. My cheerful boy who will always have a spot in my heart, the only one that truly got himself out of my little niche independent shell, my magnum opus.
The fact that I've finally finished his story is truly something to me. Omnipresence was a story I had started as a wee lad, but what a lot of people don't know is that Eep had some rougher beginnings to his story.
Back way before I developed the idea of Omnipresence through the use of the introduction of The Glitch, Eep and his (now permanently scrapped) brother used to have their own story. It used to be more centered around the pirate idea, since I used to want Eep to be that way. After all, who else wears an eyepatch? It wasn't all that good of course, but it was the beginning of something great. Zero and Mia are inspired off of an old concept of Eep's parents/relatives, so it really did help boost me in the right direction.
Eep wouldn't be where he is without loving contributions and support from friends. Most notably, Ed. Ed was created by my long time best friend RG, and I eventually adapted my own version of Ed to allow for more story building. Ed made Eep less flat, gave him attachments, gave him family.
Who can forget Eep's two old school friends? Franz and Gary, made by my previous friends, Owen and Nate respectively. They assisted Eep through his troubles with The fated Glitch, and eventually that spiraled into my dedication to these characters.
All these previously mentioned characters cannot be left without the mention of my friend, FirebonePG, who is more commonly known by his actual name. He, amongst others in my circle, joined me in a wonderful escapade of drawing every single recess. All these pages I still own personally, and hold them dear to my heart for their value to me.
Oh, but I must bring light to the most prominent memory: The Vs. Eep Mod.
Godspeed to Walto and Switcherbeats, two people I had the pleasure of meeting on Gamebanana by chance. Two people who helped me, and my more closer friends, create a quaint little mod about my characters. May I also personally shoutout the entire Divine Duality team once more for the love letter that was that mod.
There's nothing more for me to say about Eep as of right now, because very soon there will be the real gift that I give to both him and whatever community I have:
There's your hydrogen bomb, my coughing babies.
Here's to a thousand more years of Eep.
My beloved green bean.
