Byzantine

What historians don't want you to know about the Byzantine Empire, is that it never fell back in 1453. It remained to exist after all that No-longer-relevant-political-garbage, it became a very small place that's not shown on maps, probably due to it being mostly undeground. It's current culture is pretty far off from what it used to be, that's what hundreds of years (and dead emperors) will do to a country. The current culture comprises of sorcerers and magic, and powering their towns with Byzantium. This was how it was, until two old people found out about Byzantium, and would go to the furthest extent to get as much as they could.

This hunger still grows, for the Byzantiens hid a large quantity in a piece of land far away from them. Land that was coincidentally owned by Land Ho.
