Null

(The Null Primer)

Appearance

A figure with a golden glowing halo above eyes that are blind to evil, with three sets of dove-like wings, pale skin, wrapped in a long lavender colored clergy cloak and blood red scarf.

Entity Biography

The concept of light, a being of divine ordainment.

"The Null Primer" or "The White Space" is a realm of redemption or relief. After death, the damned have two options. Project as a specter or move on to the Afterlife.

The Entity itself, Null, is a very calm and forgiving figure. They have full power over Reality, meaning that they can alter any sort of thing they want. She uses this power very rarely, for she believes everything can happen without the help of her guidance. She remains in a stasis unless a subject remains idle in her realm, which has only happened a number of times.

Sometimes Driver lets her create subjects of her own, but she usually turns down this offer.

Domain Description

The Primer of light that holds the universe together. It was brought into existence to replace the darkness entirely, but soon coexisted with the darkness yet again once Driver brought it back.

The space itself lays on clouded footing, like walking on air without force of gravity. Across the landscape of vapor, large white and gold ruins of various times periods. Churches, castles, catacombs, etc. The temperature is like a warm embrace, like being constantly tucked into a warm bed. The light of the place itself should feel blinding for how bright it is, yet it’s perfectly visible, beautifully so. It’s an everlasting house of mirrors, all that peer into one’s soul and past lives. A mortal conscious can see vague reflections of others around them, so close yet so far out of reach, all eventually vanishing with the choice of projection or the afterlife.

Like Void, Null observes the past, present, and future all at once, with every possibility. Null has the power and potential to alter aspects of reality herself, yet she doesn’t dare to. She believes in the natural order of Driver and Nine, not wanting to ever interfere with even the slightest of tragedy or mistake. No matter how much it deeply certain events in reality can sicken and disturb her, she does not make one move. Nine could learn a thing or two from her maturity.

The Truth

Null masks how she really feels about everything she does. She does enjoy her responsibilities, but it hurts to see these vessels in distress. This cry for help after death and begs for mercy or projection are heartbreaking. It reminds her of the tragedy of Void. A being whose purpose is long since passed, someone who only keeps the strings together. She can see right through his spite and anger, and feels strong empathy for him.

Her bandages cover her eyes for so many reasons: A blindfold for evil, only for her to see the good in all, a protective cover from her own brightness, and to conceal a weeping angel.
