Dreamcatcher
He has plain gloves and shoes with large feathers extruding from them, his poncho is tipped with beads that rustle when he moves. His poncho has an insignia similar to that of a pentagram or spiderweb. Occasionally, liquid tentacle tendrils will extrude from his face.
His personality is that of a schadenfreude sociopath, finding his own joy in the suffering of others whilst not feeling any remorse for his own actions. He considers his victims as "friends."
Dreamcatcher is a subliminal dream demon, and an unfair fair punisher. He takes the form of the hedgehog with minimal effort. He’s the result of playing any Sonic cartridge for too long, the specific temperature and released gases of the console attracts this spirit. Once summoned, he releases subliminal messaging and signs through the game. Once these messages are engraved in the head of the player, he’s now allowed to enter the player’s head. The next time this player goes to sleep, Dreamcatcher will eventually force their body into sleep paralysis, allowing his appearance to be seen and horrifying his victim. He finds joy in seeing the fear that a human feels when they’re truly vulnerable and helpless, so he repeats these nights with his victims until they die of natural or unnatural causes. But let’s be real, they’re dying unnaturally either way.
"Strained eyes, restless nights, whose fault is this really?"
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male Adjacent (He/They)
Species: Spirit
Height: 5' 4"
Dreamcatcher only attacks those who play on the game for too long, so those with discipline are safe.
Dreamcatcher cannot physically touch humans, but he simulates the feelings by controlling his victims' brain chemistry.
Dreamcatcher is known by many names and is described in legends, he's seemingly been around long before the release of Sonic The Hedgehog 2. The most common alias he's ever been called in these legend is "The Dreamscaper."
Dreamcatcher's design is based off a Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Visual Glitch and an actual literal dream catcher, along with other spiritual objects and symbols.
Dreamcatcher takes inspirations from Mr. Virtual and No More Innocence.

This guy would've looked like 35% uglier if I hadn't learned how to make hedgehog heads within an hour with RadRatz's help.
