"Mage"
Aries S.
A wizard wearing a green jagged pointed hat with a purple star shape on the tip, a cloak with a prominent cowl, tanker boots, various beltings underneath the cloak, and glowing yellow eyes.
Mage is a young Byzantien who just wanted to find a normal job.
He couldn't find previous jobs as various different positions, as a hired gun or even just flipping burgers. They all frowned upon his magic skills and how he refused to take off that hat and wear any sort of uniform.
Eventually he came across a paper stapled to a telephone pole, and it read:
"Are you able to kill people? Are you capable of killing the same person over and over again? Are you willing to be or are already biased against the color blue? Do you like being surrounded by gravel and want to be a potential victim to pneumoconiosis? Call here if you answered yes to any of these questions."
Mage seemed to check off all of those boxes and came in for an interview, became GREN's Area Denial, and he was never the same. He became friends and enemies with so many different nutjobs.
He showed up for another reason besides his employment. Mage had been sent to deserts across various badlands on a search for the last remaining stash of Byzantium, and the family heirloom: The Byzantinator which was located in a forest oasis not far from the badlands that he now resides in for GREN.
Spite what you may think, Mage does not practice many fire spells on the battlefield.
Mage has a well mannered trust towards Farmer, Sicarius, and Flankster, but he can't really say the same for Proditor.
Mage has a personal rivalry against Grenades, Vrach, and most importantly, Cyborg.
Mage used to have an old rival back in Byzantine by the name Wren.
Mage seems to seize as many opportunities to talk and be with Sicarius, an almost obsessive amount. (Yaoi)
Mage's appearance is based on the "Seared Sorcerer" cosmetic in Team Fortress 2, which is based on the Black Mage from Final Fantasy.
Mage is inspired on the Pyro from Team Fortress 2.
